"Is there anyone outside?"

And the OST right here!

Time for some Silent Hill (these are here for both the visuals and the music, and both Kinoko and Fukuro in particular are just...odd. Watch at your own discretion).

Autumn

Long time eh? Best get on with it.

Rain

Better get started then...

Gymnopedies in general remind me of rain, but No.3 always seems the saddest and most like it.

Introduction

I suffer from art block all the time and working on a course based heavily on being able to produce ideas quickly within the term dates means a mental block can completely screw up timing and add even more pressure on top of things, joy of joys. It's one of the worst things to get into if you think of yourself as a creative person and can be incredibly depressing to be expected to be able to produce work when your ideas are running on empty.

So I'm starting this. I'm making this blog as a collection of things of all medias that give people inspiration in some way or another to help people break out of art block and get their creative mojo back. It is a personal endeavour so I don't get stuck in a rutt myself, but anyone is welcome to use this.

Here's the run down:
As inspiration comes from anywhere, any kind of media will be posted, so that includes-

  • Photos

  • Drawings and Paintings

  • Online videos

  • Music

  • Films

  • Games

  • Text (books, quotes etc).

Rather than make it jumbled, I'll try to post inspiring things under particular categories, for example "rain", "love" or "birthday". That way, if you know what you're looking for but not what to do, you can narrow down the search.

Some of the things posted are down to my personal choice, which can't really be helped. What I find inspiring isn't necessarily the same as other people, so keep that in mind. That's not to say I'm not open to suggestions, if you think of anything or find something worth linking let me know.

Because this is a collection of different media, this will be from all over the place and from several sources. All creative rights belong to the original creators and in no way am I trying to claim ownership. If you have a problem with me posting something, please let me know and I'll remove it.
